If this were 34 hours from now we would be there.  I hate that 9 or so hour drive.

So, I'm thinking you and T would be beside what would have been Stinky and Mike's original spot. I think anyway! Its like this, I know we have 3 spots and they did not get the parking passes out in time so they will be on willcall when we get there. Whenever anyone else shows up they will have to call Buck to get the parking pass. We will go normal time we always do which means we will be there about 1pm on Monday, May 13th. We desperately need a new slideout awning. Had to get 2 new marine batteries for front of coach last week. As long as get it down there and back in one piece we will be happy. So, text me when you and T are about to enter Charlotte area. We'll make it work with whoever shows up to party over the 10 days!  less

Everyone's concern seems to be th watching of TV for the 10 day period since won't have Howard's motorhome. Sure Howard and Bobbie will be coming over to visit a few times when they come up to see the girls.

  • Don Rohr Charlotte race week. A lot quieter than it used to be. 
  • Brian Vickers Went to my friends brothers memorial service this past weekend after Darlington where we ran very well and had a shot there at the end; just not enough time. All the guys rallied to get us back in position and the long green flag run actually helped us. We'll get there soon. Hopefully you guys enjoy the "off" weekend. I wish I was going to be in the All Star race but not this year. I still would like to have that one back from 2010 when I was out. Going to be in NYC for a few days. Was going to plan a trip but just too many other things to do. Better to stick it one place. Looks like a few of you are planning on coming the whole two weekends.. TROOPERS! enjoy it.

    So do you think that some of the lesser teams that don't have as much money, equipment, personnel, etc. should be able to try to qualify their cars for entry into the races (even 43rd place is good money) and then just run 4 or 5 laps and park the car?  Do you think it impacts the quality ...

    So does anyone else seem to think that we have already seen the heights of NASCAR racing and now it is going down in popularity?  I'm not so sure that it is just the economy as a reasoning for lower attendance at the races.  We need some excitement stirred back into the pot of NA...
