For me, a fan, it isn't too long. However, for the driver, it has to be too long. And, with the overall sports world/general fans, it shouldn't be this long. It's overkill. The average person gets burnt out on racing if they follow it for a season or two. Not me. I could watch it everyday. But, I'm told the average, casual fan only is able to follow it whole heartedly for 3 months. This season is triple that. 9 months is too much.

I actually would like to see them race at every track just once. Then they could add a few new ones. Keep it around 30 with one race per track a year! That would be a good season!
